Poems by Lance Henson, Adrian C. Louis, and Sy Hoahwah Featured In Jazz Cigarette's First Issue

Jazz Cigarette, an online biannual poetry magazine out of Oklahoma City and Colorado Springs, has released its first issue online featuring ten poets, three of which are Indians.

Lance Henson (Cheyenne), Adrian C. Louis (Lovelock Paiute), and Sy Hoahwah (Yappituka Comanche and Southern Arapaho) all have two or more poems in this inaugural issue. Remembrance, nothingness, railroads, and asshats are just a few of the things that make up the poems written by these three indigenous poets.
